ilCartastorie, Museum of the Historical Archive of the Banco di Napoli, was created to enhance the enormous heritage of stories and characters kept in the writings of the ancient Neapolitan public banks. About eighty kilometers of shelves contain seventeen million names, hundreds of thousands of payments and detailed reasons that reconstruct a living fresco of Naples and the whole of Southern Italy, from 1573 to the present day.
