The Volpe tower-house, which stands among the ancient houses of the charming old village of Melito, in the municipality of Prignano Cilento, is one of the few examples of defensive constructions that have survived almost intact the ravages of time. It is located in a hilly area, a few kilometers from Paestum and the blue flag sea of Agropoli, in the province of Salerno. The site, a happy combination of history, culture and a healthy climate, is nestled in the landscape that from the heights of Cilento lets the gaze glide toward the Tyrrhenian Sea, with its busy and charming coastal resorts, and toward the fertile Sele plain.
The owners welcome guests by offering hospitality services with breakfast served near a lovely English-style lawn or in the medieval dining room.
Meetings for wine and local product tastings can be arranged for small groups. Guests will be able to feel that they are part of exclusive emotions and ancient atmospheres, also due to the familiar and confidential nature of the facility.
