As a whole, the village of Clauiano maintains a precise identity, where the stones and pebbles, piéris and clàps, are still speaking, it is the decorum and ambition of the portals, the environments of peasant life – the fogolâr, the foledôr, the granary – and the many small traces left by history: which here is not that of great architecture and events, but is that dictated by the pressing needs of daily life.
