The Borgo della Marmotta Farm Resort, on the outskirts of the small village of Poreta, boasts medieval origins that have been carefully restored. The small square, stables, sheepfold, oil mill, granary and open-air farmyards now house 11 rooms, 7 suite flats, a restaurant, lounges, wellness area, large park and swimming pool with views over the San Francesco valley and the Montefalco hills. All the bedrooms and flats are characterised by the same attention to detail, both in the furnishings and the restoration.
The Restaurant
In addition to the products of the property, the best ingredients were selected by seeking out producers who shared the philosophy of eating well, organic and Km0. Chef Valentina Dugo then combined these ingredients with Umbrian tradition and her gastronomic research, resulting in elaborate dishes but without distorting the taste and nature of each element.
