Giampaolo Bertozzi and Stefano Dal Monte Casoni met among the benches of the State Institute of Art for Ceramics in Faenza, and then continued their studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. In 1980 the commonality of interests gave life to the company Bertozzi & Casoni, which was born with the intention of carrying out research in the sculptural field.
