The Susans Castle has the form and architectural structure commissioned in 1636 by Count Fabrizio di Colloredo, who grew up and was educated in Tuscany at the court of Ferdinando I, who decided to build a splendid Medici-type residence on previous medieval ruins. Thus this “Tuscan villa” was built to give prestige to one of the most suggestive areas of Friuli. The Castle was inhabited until the end of the First World War, therefore for over three centuries, by the noble family of Colloredo. Note: Hospitality services
