Molveno is a village certified by the Italian Touring Club with the Orange Flag. Surrounded by the splendid scenery of the Brenta Dolomites, it has been a coveted destination for climbers since the 1800s. But the lake of the same name is not to be outdone, with its clear, cool waters and the beautiful walk that allows you to make the entire loop, discovering enchanting views and unspoiled beaches. The lake is also the starting point for hikes in the striking Brenta Dolomites, within the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, and to high-altitude refuges where you can discover Trentino cuisine. Or you can take the cable car up to Pradèl and enjoy the exceptional vantage point over the lake, Paganella and the Brenta spires. Art enthusiasts will also find something interesting here: examples include the ancient church of S. Vigilio (13th century), almost on the lake shore, and the old hydraulic sawmill dating back to 1500.
