Between 1400 and 1500 the Scuola Medica Padovana included the most important personalities of the scientific panorama of the time: with this great tradition behind it, the Museum of the History of Medicine, located in the halls of the former S. Francesco Grande hospital, tells the story of the development of medicine from the 10th to the 19th century, with an itinerary that touches on anatomy, physiology, pathology and therapy, and includes ancient finds, a large anatomical theatre and numerous interactive exhibition areas.
