Villa dei Vescovi is a refined villa from the early 16th century, inspired by classical themes and surrounded by the landscape of the Euganean Hills. The frescoes in its rooms contribute to the harmonious fusion of art, architecture and nature.
The residence represents an important monument in the panorama of Veneto villas, introducing a taste for classicism and Roman Renaissance echoes to these lands, thus anticipating the aesthetics of Palladio. Designed on these ideals by the Veronese architect Falconetto with a rigidly geometric conception, the Villa presents itself as a refined experiment in humanist culture. Approaching the Villa, an expanse of vineyards gives way to the verdant geometries of the brolo, then the beauty of the real landscape returns to reflect itself in the idealised views of the loggias and interiors entirely frescoed by the Flemish painter Lambert Sustris. The original vocation as a place capable of inspiring and elevating the spirit still survives today: the invitation is to enjoy Villa dei Vescovi by taking the time to spend a day of creative idleness or to stay in its charming residence, savouring the benefits of its soothing atmosphere.

Staying at the Villa dei Vescovi is a unique and evocative experience that allows you to savour the charm and adventure of history and to experience the beauty of this splendid monument to Italy’s artistic heritage. Two flats are available within the Villa: the Mansarda del Vigneto and the Mansarda del Frutteto. Each flat can accommodate up to 4 people with a possible extra bed for children.
