Forty minutes from Venice, built in the second half of the 17th century by the noble family of the Counts Manin and nestled among the vineyards of the Friulian countryside, this residence is located in the village of Clauiano, listed in the famous guide of “The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy.”
Staying in this ancient mansion will convey to you the atmosphere of the past experienced by Venetian patricians at the time when “villeggiatura” was understood as a new “cultural phenomenon,” a place of delights, leisure, rest and culture, a true intelligent luxury that in our days could be likened to the phenomenon of “slow tourism” as opposed to “fast life” or “slow food” as opposed to “fast food.”
Guided tours (minimum 15 people) are organized by reservation, in the period from mid-April to the end of October, with tastings of local wines paired with snacks or snacks with products representing the best of the gastronomic realities of the area.
