Villa Pisani, located in the hamlet of Bagnolo, in the municipality of Lonigo in the province of Vicenza, is a Venetian villa designed by architect Andrea Palladio in 1542 on commission from the Pisani brothers of Venice. Since 1996, it has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List together with the other Palladian villas in the Veneto. The Villa is today in a perfect state of preservation thanks to the work of previous and current owners. Inside the Villa and in the park there is an International Collection of Contemporary Art.
Located within the Villa’s garden is the Barchessa, originally a rustic building with wide arched porticoes for essentially agricultural use, which now comes back to life in the 21st century after careful restoration and complete renovation; preserved and enhanced with a refined ArtHotel Relais, large Event Spaces and the Osteria del Guà restaurant.
